Boise was a quick trip. He invited her to a movie. Drag Me to Hell. She loves scary movies. Unfortunately she also experiences involuntary body spasms during them. He didn’t know that yet. At one point he thought she was leaving to use the restroom. Really she was just scared and somehow ended up in the empty seat next to her. He laughed about it. She was glad it didn’t embarrass him.

He was leaving for New York City. She had just finished looking at HIS facebook profile. “I love Brand New for all time,” it said. No way. She needed to text him. She asked a friend for his number. She had never done that before.

He was awkward. He made her nervous. “So what’s it like to be you?” he asked. He had just finished looking at her facebook profile. She didn’t like that he may have formed opinions of her from what he saw. She sat down in the room with him. Pretended to be interested in some books lying on the coffee table. They talked. For real.
